| No garden would be complete without a beautiful display of roses and Victoria Educational Gardens has the distinction of being designated a National Earth-Kind Rose Test Site. You can view these test roses along with 15 roses that have already achieved that special status. You can also view VCMGA's special selection of Antique Roses. All these roses have special markers for you to find which ones you like best. |

| This area is also the Earth-Kind Rose Trial bed. The area is located next to the Meditation Cathedral Gazebo. You will be able to view each rose that is on trial for selection as an Earth-Kind rose. They are left to right: Pipe Dreams, Souvenir De St. Anne's, Soncy, Malaguena, Winter Sunset, and Carefree Beauty, which is the control rose. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This bed shows the special selection of Antique Roses at Victoria Educational Gardens. This bed is between the Iris Bed and the Ornamental Grass Bed. Planted from right to left are the following: 1. ??? Unknown Red 2. Penelope large pale pink shrub (by post 1) 3. Cecile Brunner pink Sweetheart Rose 4. Old Blush lilac pink to dark pink shrub 5. Mrs. Dudley Cross yellow blushes pink in sun (by post 2) 6. Marchesa Boccella pink in clusters of 3 7. Reine des Violettes cerise lilac thornless 8. Unknown small bush 9. | There are also some heirloom roses in the heirloom section of VEG by the Rose Arbor and Patriotic area. They are Prosperity, a white bush/climber and ??? a red bush/climber. Names to be posted soon! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
